A short city visit

A little time. A real sense of place.

An unhurried introduction around the waterfront, with room to choose one more stop.

Begin at Caudan

Use the waterfront as your starting point. Walk the pedestrian lanes, look across the harbour and get your bearings before adding anything else. This suggested two-hour visit is a planning framework, not a measured or timed guided route.

Choose one direction

For art and history, consider the Blue Penny Museum if its opening arrangements suit your visit. For daily city life, head towards the Central Market. Trying to include both, plus Chinatown and the fort, can turn a short visit into a rush.

Keep time for the return

Leave a margin for crossings, a drink and the journey back to your transport. If you are arriving from a cruise ship, the waterfront is not automatically your drop-off point. Confirm the transfer arrangements before adopting this plan.
